Our DSMTA Convention was a great success and a wonderful respite from our daily activities. After participating in Ellyn Hutton’s yoga session, Jonathan Flowers’ session on mindfulness and meditation, and Dr. Lois Svard’s presentation on how our brains are naturally wired for music, we departed the beautiful Archmere Patio feeling more grounded, relaxed, and confident than when we arrived! A delightful lecture recital on Columbian music, by UD grad student Lina Maria Luisa Marin-Diaz, and an outstanding MTNA competitions Winners Recital at the day’s conclusion definitely contributed to our feeling grateful to be musicians and music teachers! Many thanks to all who made it possible. 2022/23 COMPETITION WINNERS
